This Sunday at The Village Markets, local designers will be showcasing their best creative flair, with a host of new talent emerging as well as one stallholder ramping up the fun factor with a 50’s dress up concept.
Local swimwear label Riot by Amber will be adding a bit of Gold Coast cheek to the mix, when designer Amber Pinder hosts a 50’s dress up at her market stall, complete with a photoshoot.
Stalls include Indiegovintage, Attic Collections, LoveBird, Forgotten Modern, Sisterhood Sewing, Sandi’s Jumble, Minksy, Go Lightly, Shikoba Delicates, Lost. Found. Made, Nala, Reeden Clothing, Tenspeed & Brownshoes, Saintees, Drowning In Decadence, The Hudson Tree, Faith Design, Nik, Wear Social, he Porcelain Tree, Nelly K, Bungalow12, Jewellery by Kim, BU Designs, Long Way Home, Hattie, J Vintage Retro, Miss Spent, Divine Creatures, Bluebird Designs, Valley Things, Dust, Reinvented Treasures, Love St, Shimona, Alfie. This February, get set for a month long TVM fest!
The first TVM kicks off this Sunday 5th Feb’ at Burleigh Heads State School, with fifty amazing stalls including art, photography, homewares and the best in local emerging designer fashion and vintage wares. Plus catch live local music by Ram Dharam, Cassidy Mackie and Maddy Zanatta from 9am.
Then on Saturday 11th Feb’, head South and get ready to kick off the first ever Bleach* Surfing The Fringe festival, as TVM hosts a pop-up beachside market for Bleach* Street. Tomewin St, Currumbin will come alive from 11am until 6pm with twenty-two of the best TVM stalls plus live local music by King Tide, Band of Frequencies, A French Butler Called Smith and The Lamplights just to name a few.
TVM will then be back at Burleigh Heads State School oval on Sunday 19th February with another 50 amazing stalls and more live local acts.
This Sundays TVM lineup includes Alfie. From London with love comes Arkive Vintage!
A collection of men’s & ladies vintage clothing, accessories and homewares, spanning decades from the 30s to the 90s. The product is sourced and handpicked from the USA and UK by vintage buffs Angie and Jake Varnam.
Fresh off the boat, Arkive have recently arrived to the Gold Coast from Shoreditch, East London, UK where Jake has been a permanent vintage market trader on London’s famous Brick Lane for the past 4 years.
He also had his own vintage homewares brand, “Jane’s Vintage Homewares” for which he had a concession in TopShop, Oxford Circus (the flagship store). For the past 10 years, Angie has been the Area Manager of the UK’s largest vintage clothing company, Rokit. 5 stores and an e-commerce store.
…To say we’re excited to have Arkive join the TVM lineup this Sunday would be an understatement!

The lovely Twahn from Small Stall will be selling buckets of corner store style flowers alongside her gorgeous little vintage and homewares stall. Bunches will be from $8, with a selection of unique vases also available.
To celebrate her debut – Twahn will be giving away a free ‘posy of pretty’ to the lucky 5th customer.
