I went home pretty happy on Sunday after picking up some amazing bargains at TVM. I even had to watch my bag as Marissa was eyeing off my black vintage leather jacket that I picked up for $5 from Lulu’s Jumble (total steal!).
Other purchases included a vintage black beaded dress from the new look Hattie stall $40, a brown cosy knit for the colder months $5, again from Lulu’s Jumble and a bright orange beaded necklace from Wear Social $15.

A collection of men’s & ladies vintage clothing, accessories and homewares, spanning decades from the 30s to the 90s. The product is sourced and handpicked from the USA and UK by vintage buffs Angie and Jake Varnam.
Fresh off the boat, Arkive have recently arrived to the Gold Coast from Shoreditch, East London, UK where Jake has been a permanent vintage market trader on London’s famous Brick Lane for the past 4 years.
He also had his own vintage homewares brand, “Jane’s Vintage Homewares” for which he had a concession in TopShop, Oxford Circus (the flagship store). For the past 10 years, Angie has been the Area Manager of the UK’s largest vintage clothing company, Rokit. 5 stores and an e-commerce store.
…To say we’re excited to have Arkive join the TVM lineup this Sunday would be an understatement!

The lovely Twahn from Small Stall will be selling buckets of corner store style flowers alongside her gorgeous little vintage and homewares stall. Bunches will be from $8, with a selection of unique vases also available.
To celebrate her debut – Twahn will be giving away a free ‘posy of pretty’ to the lucky 5th customer.

Like Sarah, I had planned to do all of my Christmas shopping on Sunday at TVM. However once again all I seemed to pick-up were a bunch of awesome pieces for little old me….I actually had to put the wallet away to stop myself from going completely overboard – oops!
I think Sunday was potentially my favourite TVM of all time, with perhaps the best mix of stalls we have had in 3 years. I’m now hanging for the 18th and will definitely be prioritising on the gift buying front.
